During project’s lifetime the LIFE-FROSTDEFEND tool will be first implemented in selected crops in Aeghion in order for the tool to be tested and evaluated. Then, the tool will be applied in other regions of Greece (Argolida and Laconia) as well as in France (central France and Rhône Valley).

ACUA, in cooperation with AUA, will select two irrigated fields (Action B) at higher altitudes in Kalavrita (Mt. Helmos), with marginal climatic conditions for citrus cultivation. In these fields, potted citrus (lemon) trees of three years age will be installed to ensure adequate data acquisition even in the case where no frost-events will occur at the main experimental fields
